Melrose Skate Park Mosaic

American Ramp Company designed Melrose Park in Hyattsville, Maryland. Artist Valerie Theberge was selected to create a mosaic mural at the park. The mosaic depicts native Shad fish that can be found behind the park in the Anacostia River. The waves imitate the curves and fluidity of the skate park.
